okay, so a lot of this site is more mean spirited than really funny, but the ones that ARE funny are just fucking gems. This guy, I actually would not mock at all. This looks like a dude I would hang out with if I saw him at a comic convention.
Some of these people I can't even laugh at because even they are clearly not having a good time, and I just feel bad for them and think they should take responsibility for themselves and stop letting their idiot friends talk them into doing stupid things that they're not interested in. And then there's this guy. I have no difficulty whatsoever laughing at this guy. Here's a philosophical, or perhaps ethical question for you... if he's ACTUALLY retarded, is it less funny?

You're not laughing at their handicap, you're laughing at their costume. Now...if someone takes advantage of a mentally challenged person so as to humiliate them...that would be different. I suppose it's a pretty fine line.
I thought the Barf guy looked pretty cool.

There were also a Strong Bad and Trogdor costumes (which the website writer could not identify, shame on him) and a pretty amusing Bad Robot (from the logo for J.J. Abrams' production company.)

Last year, I went through an Alias phase (I'd never seen the show before) and watched every season. Afterwards, I realized I kinda missed the little Bad Robot bit at the end of each episode.

That's clearly a Decepticon emblem on his chest. I'm pretty sure he was going for Starscream... Maybe Thundercracker.
Actually, I think it's probably a repurposed Gundam costume. So you're mostly right.
